I offer postpartum doula services to all of Calgary and area. Not sure what a postpartum doula does? I’ll look after your new baby like they were my own. I’ll do baby’s laundry and if you haven’t had a baby before, you’ll wonder how such a small person makes so much laundry! I also love to bake and cook, so if there’s time, I will also bake or make dinner, or at least get everything chopped and ready to go for you to do it when you wish. If the new baby has a sibling, I’ll try to connect with them and help them realize what a great addition the baby is/will be. I’ll also watch mom for signs of PPD (post partum depression) or PPP (post partum psychosis). Mostly, I’ll take care of the new baby and everyone in the family. If you’re not sure about how to bathe/feed/change the baby, I’ll be there to show you without judgement. Ask me anything you want without any embarrassment. I’ve probably heard it before, most likely I wanted to ask someone the same thing when I had my first baby.
